The mission of the Moscow Affordable Housing Trust is to create and preserve safe, inclusive, and affordable housing opportunities in keeping with the character of the community.

Moscow Affordable Housing Trust works with people whose household income is between 50% and 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI), an amount that varies with household size. See the Buyer Information page for more details on what the HOME program offers.

Moscow Affordable Housing Trust will offering the Finally Home!® homebuyer course in Moscow. Completing this class can qualify you for loan and other assistance from your lender.

This course is open to anyone regardless of income qualifications. It uses Idaho-specific examples, but similar concepts exist in Washington law and this introduction to credit, lending and the home buying will be useful.

Interested in a land trust house?

Visit a mortgage lender (your current bank is a place to start). Ask to get pre-approved to buy a house.

Find a Realtor. This person can help you regardless of buying from the Trust. Start learning about the market.

Take the Finally HOME class. Enroll in a class (see left). Homebyer education can help you to learn about the whole process, regardless of buying a Trust.
